The Holladayhaus has 3 bedrooms and a one bedroom suite, with a kitchenette, Living Room, bathroom with shower and shared laundry room. The 3 bedroom portion of the house has a dining room, breakfast nook , kitchen , fireplace and 2 shared bathrooms and laundry room. All rooms are furnished. Daily Rate is: The small rooms are $70 a night The large room is $75 and the suite is $100 Entire upstairs $210 Entire house $310
Weekly Rate is: Upstairs $600 a week Downstairs $540 a week
Monthly: Upstairs $1800 plus $300 deposit non refundable Downstairs: $1200 plus $300 deposit non refundable

What inspired you to launch your own website?
I loved this home when i saw it for the firs time and saw how much potential it had as a Bed and Breakfast Inn. Although we are only using it as a Vacation /ski rental, the general idea is the same.

How did you decide on a name for your website?
We liked the German spelling of House= Haus and hope to appeal to the Euro crowd
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Swiss chalet charm. Its not in the mountains but near the mountains. So if not everyone in your group wants to ski, there are other options, like shopping.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep it for income and build on and make it better and more exciting.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We are still working on it, this is a new adventure for us.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would add on to the house and do wonderful things to the yard, Like add a pool.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes , we monitor is very well and the website can sustain itself quite well.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Old plumbing, Old electical. Not having enough plugs, Not enough light switches. No garage.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Money lack of it and lack of income.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
craigslist.org
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It is harder to change things in it than I expected.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We have run it for about 2 months. We will keep it as long as we own the home.
Why should I book a room at the Holladay Haus?
Because Its much better to stay a home rather than a hotel when one travels. You have a place for everything and you can eat at home if you wish and save money and eat better.
