Please give us a short summary of your website?

Safari and Mount Kilimanjaro climbing trips Outfitter in Tanzania. Deals with Guides safaris to National parks like Serengeti,Ruaha Game Reserves like Selous, Mkomazi and other protected areas like Ngorongoro Crater. We also show Tourists Our cultural like visiting maasai, museums like Olduvai Gorge. We offer camping and lodge safaris both in Budget and Luxury Standards.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Since am Wildlife, Natural Resource conservation expert, I thought it is better to share my knowledge with rest of the World. Tanzania has Many wild animals and habitats that are very atractive to Tourists.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

It was on 2002.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I named my website according to the Unique Resources found in Tanzania. Those are Kilimanjaro Mountain, Tanzanite jewels/gemstones and Safaris to see wild animals.

So named Kili-Tanzanitesafaris

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Professionalism to what we offer (Well Trained people) from Degree to Diplomas and Certificates in Wild animals, habitats, Naming and behaviour. Also travel logistics for Tourists and general Management.

Ontime reply to enquiries, genuine information to Tourists.

Fair price to packages, always meeting the standard people budgets and high income people for their luxury trips.

Security, and hygienic care of all Tourists.

Safari itinerary package contains game viewing, cultural tourism, trekking and walking safaris.

Ectourism trips also make us unique

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To inform people about this part of the World-Tanzania, invite those interested. To plan and arrange their trip and so contribute to the Conservation of these National Parks some of which are World Heritage sites and Man & Biosphere Reserves. Conservation for present and future Generations.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Time is money, I careful balance my time so that I accrue enough income. I also make sure clients/Tourists time is managed well.Money obtained is for life expenses and the surplus is for more investment to improve Tourists services and increase facilities.

At the end time for me and Tourists is used for success.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I Would improve Tourists services by Employing more customer care and professional staff to ensure Tourists/clients are satisfied always. To increase the amount of facilities and maintain the quality of facilities like Safari vehicles, Camping equipments, accommodation.

To do more marketing and so more people get our information about Tanzania and our quality services.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, in deed. As we get more clients/Tourists hence more income. More income will enable us improve our service delivery capacity. So as income increase our capacity also increases spontaneosly and gradually.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Last minute bookings,

Tourists cancelling their trips due to various natural or personal reasons

What has been your biggest challenge?

Marketing has been our biggest challenge, Tanzania tourim has a big and tough competition.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Using Search engines, listing/submitting our website URL to search engines and Travel/tourism Directories and Guides.

Reading and writing various articles about Safari, Travel, Hospitality and Tourism.So when the article is published, then article is linked to our website.

Also contributing to travel and Tourism Forums.

Word of Mouth, As we offer quality services then our satisfied customers recommend us to other people too. Great!

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

At first it was difficult to get exposed to search engines like Google and Yahoo. But now things have changed, we can be seen in most search engines and also get enquiries.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

More than 5 years and all my life.
