Condo Holiday Rental Apartment Located in Quinta do Romão (right in the sweet spot) adjacent to both Vilamoura and Quarteira (Beaches/Marina & Town ALL 2 min Walking Range), 2 Unusually Large Bedrooms (One En-suite), two full baths, Sleeps 4/8, 2 Pools, private veranda with Sea views overlooking the large pool, children's pool and landscaped gardens. 6 Golf Courses & Golf Academy within 3 mins drive, Marina 3 mins level walk & 2 Beaches including the promenade 1 to 2 mins level walk.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We want to rent it. In Particular we rent it to people in the UK for beach and golf holidays hence the .co.uk web address.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This one 3 or so weeks ago.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
To make it more visable in Google and other search engines we incorporated key words into the name.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
It is extremely centrally located. A tastefully decorated and FULLY appointed apartment. Many places look good in pictures but when you get there they have been striped leaving only the basic bear minimum things in place. Our apartment is fantastic. Beautifully decorated. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The apartment you select should add to the pleasure of your holiday. It should be comfortable, cheery, and fun. It should be a home away from home, and our place is just that!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep it, both for income and to use as a vacation home.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Well so far but we just started. It is very exciting because people are really wanting it.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I don't really know.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
If it go so big I would buy more apoartments and hire some help. But there is not much chance of that for a small personal site.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Finding clients.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
We advertizing in UK rental places.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
DOn't really know...
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
3 weeks or so. And I will keep it as long as we own the property.
