1000 Islands Gananoque Ontario Canada offers bountiful fishing, some of the most challenging golf courses, canoeing, beaches and a wide variety of other outdoor activities. A great opportunity for adventure and a great selection of vacation resorts, cottages, B&B's and camping, creative lodging, each with its own unique charm offering the best rental accommodations
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I live in 1000 Islands Gananoque and love the area so wanted to tell other people around the world.

This is it and about 5 years ago!
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The town where I live.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Lots of local info for anyone wanting to move here or just visit.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
So far to keep it, not thinking of selling, and just keep people informed, of course to make a few dollars to keep it up and running.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would add my site to all websubmit sites to let more people see just how wonderful this part of CANADA is!!

Yes, bring it on.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far very careful, hope to keep it that way.
What has been your biggest challenge?
At first to get advertiser's, now no problem.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Submitting it to as many sites as possible, without spamming.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Hasn't as I thought keep working on it changing it and people will come.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Around 5 years and have no thoughts of giving it up.
