What inspired you to launch your own website?

Additional marketing opportunbity to atteact visitors

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

New Zealand Trade Merchants in 2006 to marketing dairy exports from New Zealand

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Descriptive of the location

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Simply aims at new visitors seeking casual accommodatgion and advice.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Should provide new customers and thus income for the owners

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Not sure - early days

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Not sure

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

No the accommodation is limited.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None so far - costs nothing more than the site reg and annual hosting fee. I do small websites for friends as hobby

None really. If you need help just Google for advice.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Getting listings on good directories and S/engines

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Nothing has occured that was not expected
