Riads Marrakech is a booking portal dedicated to a selection of Guesthouses set in traditional moroccan houses, the famous riads.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
My associate and i felt that there was a need to offer travellers accomodation in guesthouses that have been selected for the quality of their offerings and services. We humbmly try to fill this objective.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my first website in the mid 90's. It was a small community dedicated to helping webmasters promote their services.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Well ... Riads Marrakech was pretty straight forward & the domain was available. So our name was really opportunistic.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We have visited all the Riads we feature and check on the quality of their services on a very regular basis.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Well i'd keep our partners and change all the rest ! A new version is currently under development that will enable us to be more competitive
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, we can keep up with the demand without any problem. We are already refusing to work with some very well managed accomodations.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site has been running for 4 years now & i hope to give you some more news on our success in an other 4 years.
