Mongolia mongolian culture GAS Tours & Expeditions - Mongolia Interview
Name of your website?

GAS Tours & Expeditions - Mongolia

Your name?

Bilguun

Your Location (city, etc)

Ulaanbaatar

Please give us a short summary of your website?

A website is designed for those who are seeking real adventure and are eager to discover something ancient and unique.. Through our website our near-future customers can get their entry to Mongolian unique culture and inspirational nature, and just be our welcome guest!

I said near-future customers because I'm going to launch my website soon! We are newcomers to the business. But we're aggressive and motivated ones!

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I'm just starting this business. So having an own website is a key part in attracting customers and satuisfiyng their needs.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Starting to launch.. =)

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Well, first of all, our company name is GAS Tours & Expeditions, which stands for Gobi, Altai, Steppe (GAS). So, we added travel name indicating that our company is a travel agency company.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

As we said we are newcomers to the business (not total newcomers at all, we all have some experience!). But we're aggressive and motivated ones! We can arrange any trips to Mongolia. Any. All our pre-trip information for customers are based on personal level. We will contact each our customers to answer all their questions regarding their trips to Mongolia (we won't have just "dead" Hint/Tips section in our website).

Also we will first focus on the 101% comfort for our clients not on the money!

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To attract more people to Mongolia through our website.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Well, time is always against us. And the money is never enough. But we all are capable enough to manage these!

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

First of all, we haven't get our website ready yet. But if we had unltd devel.budg. we would probably focus more on search engine ratings and adding more and more information about Mongolia and our service (but in a way that customers find it easy to find something they particularly need). But I hope our website won't need that. =)

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Of course! No problem! =)

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

During building a website? Well, the biggest one was to register and transfer domain registration. I really didn't expect this to be that problematic.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Attracting people to our website.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Standard methods: search engine rating, brochures, phone calls, (gosh, I gotta find some fresh methods!)

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Not yet running.. =)

Replace this with a question of your own

How do you really promote websites? Also how many people visit your website directory? And at last how many of these visitors are looking particularly for Mongolia and tours to Mongolia/Asia?

Thank you!

What is your website address?
