By heading westward toward the interior, one would begin their adventure into the Yucatan Peninsula. This beautiful journey ends at the most appropriate location, on the Mayan River.
To become archeologists in training, children have the opportunity as they explore the lovely Chichen Itza and the beautiful sites therein, as well as Uxmal and Ek Balam.
Swimming is of the leisurely activities which can be enjoyed by the entire family, and with a network of freshwater lakes and rivers running underground this attraction alone would surely capture many a person's attention.
