What inspired you to launch your own website?

To promote tourism in Malaysia especially Penang and to generate extra income as I am now retired but still alive and kicking !!!

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Some time this year as above

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Born in Penang and being involve in the tourism industry since 1973 it could.nt get any better than home base

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Originality is the best Policy

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep myself busy at least for the time being and no intention to sell

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Pretty well even though its a small business

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

No I dont beleive in changing it but will invest in other business with the extra fund

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes as I have keen interest in this business for the last 30 over years and I have plan B and C and so on

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Getting the permits for the vehicles.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Once a Person Retires he or she suddenly lost the most important word ! NO INCOME !

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

So far none but keep handling out my business cards to as many tourists as possible in case their friends or relatives wish to utilize my services or upon the return trip they might like to.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Keep going as I have nothing to lose anyway

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Not long ago and will continue to do so
