Please give us a short summary of your website?

After a few years of having our friends coming to visit us we thought we should open up what we have learned. It seems everybody has a lot of questions when they first get here, trying to get to know where to start. We thought if we could answer those questions before hand we could get them off to a running start vice sitting around and trying to figure out what to do. Then it hit us that our friends are not the only ones visiting the island and why not open it up to everybody. After having your friends here for awhile and then they figure out what they want to do while they are stepping back onto the plane is a wasted vacation. We want them hitting the ground and running on all cylinders while they are here.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We like the challenge of learning something new but trying to help people is what inspired us the most. Knowing a lot of people come to Oahu we wanted to make sure their vacation is a vacation. We have seen more then one couple fighting on what to do and how to do it. We hope this takes out some of the guess work on hitting the ground and having some fun.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is our first website and we are learning fast.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We feel that our website is different is that we are trying to put a local spin on the adventures that we have here. Not trying to hype it up but just giving the straight honest truth without the flashy photos, type, or endless links and copywrite that we see on a lot of websites. We are not saying that is bad but for us we wanted to presented our island the way we see it and none of the flash.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our eventual goal is to branch out into other travel related services. This will be a good test for us if we like what we are getting into or back off and venture into another area. We feel this is an excellent way to test the water and see if we sink or swim. Hopefully we swim and have some fun doing it.
