We help find orlando vacation rentals, disney vacation homes, Florida vacation homes and Kissimmee vacation homes.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I live in Orlando Fl, and I have been involved with the vacation rental industry for years and I decided to build a website that helps people select their vacation dream home.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website I launched was LighterCovers.Com back in 2002. I sell my invention, the fuzzy lighter cover. I have been number 1 on all search engines for 3 years in my category.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I know people are searching for Rentals in Orlando, so the name was just fitting,...rent vacation homes orlando.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We let the customer choose the home of their choice and customize their stay with extra amenities not offered by most other vacation home websites.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I would like to keep it for income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Right now, not so good, but hopefully it will pay off soon.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would hire someone to do my SEO and updates.

Loosing my placement on the search engines.

Trying to generate a good customer base.

It is what I expected, a lot of time and hard work with little notice to what you did.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have been running it for about three years...and I hope to pass it on to my kids.
If you could get rid of one website, what would it be??
Hard toss up between youtube and myspace...one just has mindless junk and the other floods you with spam. and i forgot to mention ebay....too many crooks on the site and not enough police'ing on ebay's part.
