We offer villas and apartments in Cyprus for holiday rentals and long term living. We also offer advice on flight companies to get the best deals, car hire, news and event information and information on Cyprus in general.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Internet is a big tool for travel businesses now and a good website is a good way of offering quality products around the world to people who want that service.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The first website I lauched when i was young with a relative, it was a family webpage that linked all of the members of the family together.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
By chance, we wanted something that represented the fun side to holidays by being colorful and bold but also something that didnt necessarily mean anything. Spot on is a widely used expression which stuck with us.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The website is set up in a simple design with not to much information or to little and we aim to offer other information apart from the rentals of villas and apartments as this is what people are looking for when renting a villa for a holiday, the location around it, where they can take the children, if the beaches are safe. When people contact us via our website, we are keen to assist in everything to make holidays run as smooth as they should do time and time again.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to keep offering a quality product to holiday makers from all over the world and to make sure that they have perfect holidays time and time again from our company.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
When you enjoy what you do the time doesnt become an important aspect, the feeling that someone has really enjoyed themselves and the thankyou's make it worth the while.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I wouldnt change anything, we have a large profile to offer clients but we are small enough to care and have the personal touch so gradual growth is better. Being able to spend time talking to a person who is here on holiday is a wonderfull feeling.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
The lovely thing about Cyprus is the way that the families are very close and help each other so if this happened there are plenty of people to keep up with the demand.
What unexpected headaches have you had to deal with?
Changing in to the Euro confused many clients.
What has been your biggest challenge?
The Euro was a big challenge, changing everything over and making sure everything run smoothly was important to us.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Our best method of promoting the website is through word of mouth. Cyprus is a small country so word travels fast and the name is easy to remember.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It hasn’t differed from my expectations. Technology is a wonderful thing but can go wrong from time to time, being prepared in advance was a great way to avoid disappointed expectations.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site was recently launched with many features to offer information relating to villa and apartment rentals and it will continue to run for years and years to come.
