Our website has been built to promote our villa for rent in Timi Village, it also contains lots of local information
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We lived in our villa for 5 years and then because of family illness and two new grand children decided to return to the UK. We have enjoyed living in our villa and wanted to give people the chance to enjoy it too.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched in October 2007.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Easy we named it after the village it is in.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
It isn't in a complex it is in an authentic Cypriot Village, also it is way from the tourist areas, but close enough to be able to enjoy what Cyprus has to offer.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our aim is to promote the site and villa and to be able to afford to keep the home we have come to love.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We are still pretty new to marketing the property, so time will tell.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would like it to be more searchable. Prehaps enter the dates and it comes up if available.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Oh yes as long as the dates are available.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None really, just there is a lot of compitition out there.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Marketing, getting the site right, making sure the photos are the best we can do.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Search engines, and also links on other holiday sites.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
They haven't.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Since October, as long as we want to rent the property

Yes we are always willing to work with people interested in renting our villa, we hope they will enjoy it as much as we have, this is important to us.
