Premier South Lake Tahoe vacation rental in Heavenly Valley. 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms sleeps 10 to 12. This house is perfect. It's located at lake level with in minutes to Heavenly Ski Resort and the Lake.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to share our home in South Lake Tahoe with others. I felt that the internet would give it the exposure it needed so I went live in 2007.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I lauched a jewelry website in 2003 and sold tghe biz in 2005. I learned alot and loved what I learned.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted to make sure it would have a name that wouldn't be forgotten or overlooked and it was the first name I thought of and liked the way it sounded.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

I update it often and try to make it informative and not just about the accommodations or service... I really want to make sure that the renter is well informed and has a bunch of info about South Lake Tahoe that they didn't have before they clicked on the site.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I would like to keep it and countinue to be involved some how online

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

The balance is satisfing. It's not about how much we are making but about how much Ive learned during the process.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Of course I would optimize the heck out of the site and try to come up first in all my keywords and search terms ...duhhh

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

yes...I would do my best

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

none really

page rank and links

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

directories and free adds, free links too

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

it hasn't I know that with out a good seo it will take for ever
