Please give us a short summary of your website?

We have recently bought this superb Ski Slope Apartment in the heart of the fun ski resort of Borovets. It is right outside the gondola, ski depot and slopes and is where you want to be if you come skiing or snowboarding in Bulgaria. The website allows you to book your accommodation, ski package, flights and transfers online.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We have several websites to promote our guesthouse in South Africa as well as the Ski apartment and find it the best way to reach a wide number of travellers quickly and cheaply.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The best name for a website is one that describes exactly what the website promotes - Ski Apartment to Rent !!

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

The apartment and website are privately owned and our personal involvement makes it a holiday but with the comfort of home. Not impersonal like staying in a hotel.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

The apartment is for our children to enjoy and allowing other guests to rent it helps pay the way in the times we cannot be there ourselves.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, we love promoting travel and would like to see more people selecting their accommodation and travel packages like this.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

The concept of a blog is fantastic and allows an inexperienced internet user to quickly load pictures and stories for others to click on and read without a formal website.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We only established this site a few weeks ago but we have had our first blog site running since October last year. As at end Sept 07 we have had more than 27 000 people visiting our blog sites.

Who would want to visit your Ski Apartment?

All fun-loving skiers or those wanting to learn - come as a group and have the most awesome holiday in the snow in Borovets.
