Please give us a short summary of your website?

Adventure Bhutan travel is a tour company based in Bhutan. It operates inbound tourists and has been operating since 1999. Adventure Bhutan specialises in family and small group travel. We organise cultural tours and trekking in Bhutan.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

In tourism we get to interact with people from different countries. Its a kind of inspiration to learn and to show people the best of our country.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched a first website about myself that was some 12-13 years ago.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted a website which alone could mean something about my country.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It is different from others because we try to make it as unique as possible.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

My eventual goal is to keep it for income.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

so far my investment of time and money on my website is more than the actual success but website promotion is a gradual process and one day i know it will do good.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

If i had unlimited development budget for my website then i would employ people with different skills on webdevelopment. We would have a research team and we would make a website which would sell and give business.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

If my site got real big then I would have a team working on it twenty four seven.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

the main headache i have is getting a good ranking on the search engine.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge is giving it a professional look which i haven't been able to do so.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Trying all possible methods

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

so far the running of my website is lesser than my expectations.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have run it for more than a year and i plan to keep it for another few years.
